This show will rank and one of the best SCR's ever, and I have been to them all. The weather was just about as perfect as you could ask for. Its always great to see old friends and meet new ones. Thursday nights meet and greet was a homerun as usual. Friday's drag racing was once again made special this year by Mark Hassett! Joe{Brandon}Barr did a great job as the auctioneer, a job he may have a hard time getting out of in the future. The dinner party was lots of fun and the private viewing of the cars after dinner was a great nightcap. Saturday was just a blurr with all the memorabilia to look at and talking to everyone. Already looking forward to SCR10...BKH

Brian,

Hats off to you and the others in these photos, you guys tore apart an entire rear end right at the track. I think anyone who races at SCR should know that if you break something there are plenty of helping hands.

------If I had to make an educated guess,,, there was pre-existing damage there and this would have happened soon enough if not that day. Couldnt have happened at a better place!!! Plenty of great friends, cold beverages and hot pizza. What a deal.........Bill S

Good call Bill. You can tell from the color of the metal in the break that there was pre-existing fracture.

Do like the shirt that Nick M. was wearing while working on Mark's Motion Camaro.
