That's right,no L-89 on the 70 Nova.
These are the L-78 Suffixes:
CKO-Manual Trans.
CTY-Auto Trans.
CKQ is a Manual w/HD clutch.
CKP,CKT & CKU were used on the 1970 Chevelle L-89 applications.
The 1970 Chevelle is the only car that could have received Al. heads.
I believe 18 did.
