Jim,

thank you for your help in pointing me in this direction, as you mentioned there are a lot of good people here and I am sure something will come of it....I am still hopeful you will be able to get some of the big brake parts out of the Green Bay stuff.....Jovi

Yep, remember the car. DIV-1 car. Ran many times at Maple Grove but maybe home track could have been Cecil County. If memory serves me it had a BB in it and ran A or B/MP. Color was bluish and grey maybe? Has been awhile.

If it came from Maple Grove, then I *might* have something with the car or the owner's name on it, as I have the original NHRA tech manual from the track, and it has lots of track mailings and stuff in it...

I have tracked down the gentlman who built it and raced it, and he is going to give me all the history, so the next question is, what is a car like this worth? As I mentioned, I wanted to convert to a ProStreet, but would rather find something else and not do any mods to this car and sell it the way it raced....

------How cut up is it??? Would you consider it a period racer or has it been updated too much??? Does it have a period paint job presently??? Is the drivetrain fresh or even together at the moment??? These things have relevance to the current value........Bill S

it is not cut up at all. except for the 31x15 tires and the full cage you would think it is a stock 58. The car is tubbed, but body was not touched, stock front end, narrowed rear with a Dana 60 & ladder bars.

I would say it is a period racer, no modern up dates, paint from when it raced, which I believe is enamel, and currently has a small block w/hampton super charger and Nash 5 speeed. The drive train was replaced by the previous owner but I may put together a motor which it ran back in the day....

I have attached a photo of what it looks like today. this was taken in the previous owners barn/warehouse.
