I'm headed that way on Monday. I'll stop by and see what the story is, or at least see if the car is still there.

Last time I drove past 10 months or so ago, the car was moved, but still tarped in the back yard.

Will try to get some pics if possible.

Joe I agree...I always said I 'd like to see these cars at the reunion.The unrestored cars are a treat for sure.I'd usually walk over a thousand restored cars to get to a beater....Don't get me wrong,restored is fantastic,as long as it's done correctly..And for this to happen we NEED to see these cars..

I also love "supercar beaters". If I owned that car I would seriously try to get it running and drive it for a summer or two just like that! Sure as hell would be a conversation piece!

Well, the car is gone. I stopped and talked to the nephew of the owner (less than friendly I might add) and he said that his uncle is having the car restored "by a guy that knows bodywork"...

I feel safer already. I hope it lives again, but it sounds like a so/so effort to me. I think the guy is tired of hearing about this car from strangers.
