Car is 100% ligit, and was used for tech articles, and videos on 1st generation detailing. Was also the USCC Give away car. Car is a time capsule. 185? It is possible but I doubt it on E-Bay. Barrett-Jackson is the place for this car.

If $185K is too much, how about this crazy red-balls price:

Whew, where's the free mullet? That's a very expensive 16-second car...

This time capsule car had been on Ebay fairly regularly about 3-4 years ago with virtually no real activity on it. It would pop up about 4 times a year and the price then was about $110K if I recall. At that time it was crazy money and today it still is for that particular car.

Nice car but for that money you could get a rarer first generation Camaro.

Don't get me wrong, I hope he gets it because my 1969 L89 has even fewer miles on it than this car, would increase accordingly as I am sure a lot of other peoples rides on this site would. Then I could walk in, with a big old Sh%* Eating Grin on my face, and proudly tell my lovely bride that no, I had not lost my mind in getting the 69 after all.

I did let her drive it the other day for the first time since having it for nearly two years. She stepped on the gas and away we went. The look on her face as she was burning up the fossil fuel was one I will remember for a long time. Afterwards she told me to start calling her Daisy Duke. Her next comment was she never knew how fast that car is and I need to be careful when driving it. Now only if I can find a pair of cut off jeans for her..........look out!
