Tank stickers are often not completely readable. Could be the upper right corner is not clear or even completely missing. I do agree that when the possibility of COPO/F&SO is mentioned, that person should be ready to back up the claim. Tim Thorpe is well regarded in the Corvette community and I would be interested in why he thinks it may be a COPO. My guess is the indication of RPO J56 makes him think that. There were 80 L88s with that 'mandatory' heavy duty brake option in 68. Most believe that although it was an RPO, it was only available when RPO L88 was specified. Records indicate 81 J56 Corvettes produced. Is this the only non L88 car to come with this option?
