Thats pretty darn cool!Back in 1988 at the Autorama here in Houston. There was a guy that had a real nice looking Pick up truck, nice bed cover etc.had a little button you push and the tailgate dropped down exposing the jet engine! It worked also! He said he liked going to areas where people hung out and street raced! When people would approach him he would say sure I will run you! The first thing thay wanted to do was look under the hood where a plain stock 350 sat as it came from the factory! He said his deal was that if we lok in a race and you back out that makes me the winner! When all agreed on thay would line up! His friend made sure everyone was well out of the way and then the tailgate dropped and the jet engine fired up!Well they always backed out he said then he would just die laughing.Said he never took any money from anyone but it was worth thousands just seeing all the faces of the people!

I saw that bug before on another website, but he also had a vespa with two small jets strapped on the sides.

If you go to the bottom of the web page...the Vespa is there, too!

I think that is a little more than what Dieter had designed into that 'Beetle.'

I like those new Volkswagon commercials where they're picking on the tuner guys.
