I second that! Happy Father's Day to all. Unfortunately my kids are not old enough to wash cars yet.

Same here happy fathers day to all of you out there with kids. I am taking my daughter for her first trip shark tooth hunting in about an hour and can't wait. I sure hope she finds some.

Got a funny reply to this!

Many years ago, when I lived in NJ, my two daughters were
"helping me" wash my car for Fathers Day. My youngest was
three and the hose weighed more than she did. Well, after
we soaped-up the car, my youngest wanted to hose it off.
So, I let her. Just about this time, my neighbors arrived
home from church and parked in their driveway immediately
parallel to my car. They could clearly see we were washing
my car, but they parked there anyway. Well, once my three
year old started rinsing off my car, she wet me, my other
daughter, and my neighbors car as well.

Well, they came running out of their house screaming at me
about my kids splashing water on their car. My reply was
simply - we're sorry. The husband went in the house and
his wife kept standing there yelling. Then, it got to her
use of "colorful adjectives" and that's when I lost it.

I took the hose from my daughter ( she was still spraying
the whole time ) and proceeded to spray my neighbor to cool
her off. We never talked to each other again. WORKS FOR
ME!!!

Hey, my brother Gary's daughter "helped" him wash his 1977 Trans Am...by picking up a handfull of soapy rocks and rubbing them on the paint. What could he say?

Neighborly Love? Garden State? Every one knows those two
don't belong in the same sentence....

Took my lads to the local old Steam and Tractor show and hooked up w/ Grampa there. . Lots of old tractors and a few steam engines tooling around....really great display of old 'hit & miss' motors sitting there running & popping away too. . Good group of mostly older fellas but a happy bunch....a bit o' cheer being passed around? . Usually a few cars show up but little this year aside from a clean looking 72? GMC pickup and a 72 Chevelle SS in the parking lot. . Happy Dad's Day....hot one here! .
