Ah yes.....the gas wars.....Loved them!
I remember pumping 260 into a 69 L78 for a quarter per gallon. Reckon you could say them were the good 'ol days.

I was at Martin, MI for the F.A.S.T. race this last weekend. They boasted of having the cheapest racing fuel in the country-- Torco 110--$4/ gallon -- Torco 112-- $4.50/ gallon. I filled up the race jugs before making the trip back home!
Almost as good as some of our good friends rolling a 55 gallon drum to the pump and saying "fill'er up!" ![]()

As I posted earlier, Torco 110 from my dealer is $400 per 55 gal. drum. I do know that $70 of that cost is for shipping from Wis. or mich.
