That 1965 AD is amazing! Wonder what it would cost today
to put that many top stars in a commercial for a car. ![]()

The ad was great!
Maybe since Chevrolet sponsored the shows themselves, the stars had a "paper obligation" to do that for next to nothing... |

Hey Verne,
Another thing struck me as funny. We all know that Dan Blocker was "given" a Z-16 Chevelle by the folks @ Chevy. Odd he didn't introduce that particular model. I'd prefer Liz Montgomery anyday any-way..... Wonder what the date was for this shoot? Probably before the Z-16's went into production anyway. They were a mid year intro weren't they? Steve

Steve,
I don't know much about Z-16s, except I had a chance to buy one in '74 for $1100. because the guy couldn't afford the gas! It was in very nice shape, but I was fresh out of the Navy and didn't have that much money....... ![]() Verne |

Great stuff, looks like the Corvette is a red/red 365 horse. It appears to have a 6500 rpm redline and it's not a fuelie.

He claimed that gas was too expensive, insurance was too expensive, and that the muscle car era was dead! What did he know!!! Just look at all of us today. ![]() Steve

I knew I had this somewhere and I finally found it while watching an old VHS tape. I was lucky enough to grab a few minutes of this episode where Samantha is driving her 69 RS Rallye Green Convertible, with spoilers. The quality isn't that great cause I took a picture of the TV. But how awesome!
