On July 3 Monday I did drive out to my old friends home, some 50 miles east of Seattle, in the Cascade Mountain foothills. The below 67 Camaro had little if any Original paint and maybe a replaced right panel. Even though a nice car, I was expecting to see an Original Paint unmolested survivor. Bottom of car was as original with misc dirt, grease and grime.........I pretty much decided that I High $20K's was just too high. Did I make my next mistake.....??

Chuck,
You made a good decision. The master cylinder and associated brake lines are incorrect. The motor looks incorrect as well. Wrong air cleaner, wrong valve covers, wrong PCV setup etc.. Makes you wonder

Car looks to be repainted. Has a rear spoiler (not in 67), wrong center caps, etc..

If you are looking for original unmolested that car is not the one.

I know Marlin...I hear it from my wife all the time! At least the Black '67 Z is hear to stay...it crosses the border on Friday morning

Hope to have it disassembled and then off to PA (hopefully) by the end of the Summer for body and paint
