Let me make this a little more clearer from my years of knowledge of Federal law: IT IS ILLEGAL TO SELL A VIN TAG THAT IS NOT ATTACHED TO THE CAR IT ORIGINALLY CAME ON.

No need for discussion or opinions: that is the state of the law as of yesterday, today and most probably for the rest of eternity.

Sorry njsteve I should have been "a little more clearer"
as means has ebay changed the rules, and are now allowing the selling of tag's ? I thought they pulled them, as soon as they are listed. Would this not make ebay legally responsible

I didn't mean to give you grief Ebay needs an easier way to report these so they can get them off the site quicker.
