I think the seller is trying to say (in his answers to the questions in the auction) that it came off of one of the actual production '67 L88 Corvettes. How he can prove that I do not know. I guess the video explains it...

Kooky pricing aside, looking again at this sellers other items makes me wonder who this guy is? . There's been a couple of Japanese guys who own or have owned McLaren Can-Am cars and I think there's still an M12 in Japan? . Man, that magnesium oilpan is a deal compared to the intake!

I think you could have your own intake cast for that much.

Hell for that price he should also furnish GOLD gaskets and install it on the engine!LOL Then you could remove the GOLD gaskets and put on some nice blue ones and sale the GOLD!

Was it a member here who offered to sell him one for $500. If so PM me with casting#, date and condition. If it is the 3885069 casting, I am looking for one, I'm just not willing to pay $23.000 for it.
