Judging from sticker residue on drivers door, this Elky may have been a work horse at one time (maybe a stump-puller ). Terrific docs/Hx, one owner, monster motor - Altho an "LS6" the El Camino factor, column tranny and color combo will keep the lid on the price of this car.

Cool find.

Saddle Bench seat doesn't help.

Bill, I'm haunted by killer green cars. Check the "For Sale" forum and you will see what I mean. I'm a human magnet for green cars. Ah.. life is good.

You tell em Mike! and to further that what's the beef with saddle guts? That's a great combo,as far as the bench I can see it being a ding in a coupe-but quite functional in a truck imo. Could not have been too many LS6 Elco's in 48/Saddle

Wise guy, eh?! Why soitenly, I like green cars. Did I say I didn't like green cars? I don't think so. I am merely saying that for the average Joe this will be a detractor. Green can be a terrific color. It's just that most want a red, black, blue, yellow, etc. car.

Got it running. The motor has a knock, but starts right up. To my suprise, when I pulled it in to gear it drove right out of the car port.
