My grandfather bought it in 1971 for 700.00....It been a racer and is now being restored...but It left a huge inpact on me at 4 or 5 years old....Im now 35 and have never forgotten the big block screaming at over 6500 with my granps power shifting it through 3 gears....all I could say was go faster grandpa go FASTER!!!!!....got him a ticket that day....but I will never forget it..!!!! Ive turned down really good offers for it...over 200K.....well all I tell the guys is that ... A MILLION DOLLARS ....couldnt replace the memories this car and I share....Thanks Keith

Since we're all spoutin' about our solid lifter converts... mine is a Garnet Red 69 SS/RS L78 M22 convert with red deluxe interior, tach/gages, power top, guards, chambered exhaust, and Canadian documentation. Its a keeper!
