One mistake I have made in this post is that if it did become part of the Camaros.net site it would only be an informative section on the cars. Most of these ideas would involve a new site.

By the sounds of the 'sketches' your making, along with the suggestions...I would lean toward doing a dedicated site towards a 1st gen BB registry with a small'ish forum and an extended (from Camaros.net site perhaps) BB specific 'ID' section.

If you want to keep it painfully simple for now look at the 2nd gen registry for a quick blueprint..it's fairly new but growing.:

You can start it small and expand it as your, or other members time permit.
