Mahalo Kasey but Marcel and I could only dream it was our 68. As the story states its part of Steve Sandlin's collection and we just happen to be the CARetakers of it. Also notice that where it says Christmas present it should be surprize instead. Its a great ride and will be part of the History of The Camaro Display at the First Hawaiian/Motor Trend International Car Show this weekend as well.

Marcel and I would like to also say congrats to Ken with his Lil Hoss featured just before Steves 68 and lastly Mr Steve Sandlin for doing the unexpected and sending out one of his cars for us to take care of. Its ready and waiting for any visits to Hawaii by its rightfull owner!! but Marcel will still inspect your shoes prior to you getting in

I like the front license plate, too!

Wow Jeff...in the picture, you look like you're 7 feet tall!

I was suprised when Bob McClurg told me he sold his article to Chevy Rumble, because it's the second article they have done, the first in 2003. Bob was kind enough to do a photo shoot after last years reunion at the end of the track at St. Louis.

I would like to thank John Dianna, the main force behind Chevy Rumble, because it was his call. According to Bob, John liked his write up so well he decided to run it again. If I am not mistaken, John raced and wrote about stockers while he wrote for HotRod in the '60's, and I bet is partial to small block powered cars. I still enjoy his articles, especially his "Strictly for Stocks" when I read my old HotRods.

Again, thank you Tom, Rob and the SYC who provide the opportunity for time at the track at the reunions.

My Congratulations as well to Jeff, Steve, Marcel and Ken.

Very Nice Articles and Pix!

I'd also like to thank the sYc once again for giving us all the opportunities to bring out our toys and play with them at a premier location and in the company of some of the best people in the hobby.

You only say that since we share the same first name

You might say that but paybacks with Sandlin ALWAYS go his way for some reason so I dont even think about that 9/10ths stuff
