Well - I've heard this from a slightly different angle.
Seems a number of engine builders feel that the new flat
lifters are not ground properly and as such are junk. I
have been told to buy as many sets of NOS GM solid lifters
as I can get my hands on. This topic was covered about
2 months ago on the NCRS website in detail I believe.
