If you can't read the number after you clean it, try rubbing some chalk over it and wipe it. Use a magnifying glass too, its hard to make out sometimes. Some of us are looking for an original block for a car we have, so please let us know and post the info. Glad to pay/trade to reunite an original block with one of my cars any day. I'm sure all would agree if it were to be a block for one of the members cars here.

What a way to make a debut on this site. I'll bet his PM box is almost full already. I wonder if anyone has actually told him what this engine could be worth or made an offer close to what it's worth.

Sorry for any confusion. My Copo has the same block #'s. I saw Jerry's post and was curious. With restamping going on now days, I didn't want to see anybody get burned on the site. For some stupid reason I was thinking they only built 1 Copo motor that day. Good luck with the sale.
