Interesting TJ....the M/T ad mentions "all welded"...Vernes are riveted...they are earlier M/T wheels...I have a NOS set of them too...

The Mickey Thompson Challenger wheel was introduced in '65, as cast
inside the back on one of the spokes. This one is 14x6. A variety of
bullets, centercaps and spinners were offered. Unlike the new Radir
repops, these wheels have a chrome rim and a cast aluminum center
section that is rivited to the rim. Sealant around the rivit heads or a
tube is required due to leakage.
