I had the same experience a few years ago and my Camaro got
through it OK. In my case though, the spring broke as soon as the garage door closed and it scared the crap out of me. I heard it hit the wall, then bounce into some other items, then eventually onto the roof of the Camaro. Good thing I had a cover on it as well. Wonder what it would have done if it hit me? ![]() Immediately after this incident, I had the newer style coil springs installed above my garage doors. Start the search for the missing part, make sure somebody didn't saw almost all the way through the eye-bolt wanting you to believe that it was an accident..... ![]() Besides, you might find an NOS L-88 hiding in one of those boxes. BTW, if you find Jimmy Hoffa, let us know. ![]() Steve
