O.K.......Here are some Quick pic's.....and a "Little" Story......I bought this car about 5 years ago, it was a Texas car (Courtesy Chevrolet) and was a completely stock 283-PG, P.S., P.B., Factory Air car...At the time I was going to build a 8 sec Drag Car out of it, but it was a little too nice to cut up so I used it as a daily driver.
After taking the Factory Stock 66 SS 396 Convert on last years Power Tour.....a couple of things were now apparent......#1....A.C. is a must.....#2.....Overkill on the Cooling system is a "Good" thing.....#3.....Overdrive is a "Smart" thing (Averaged 11 M.P.G. and went thru 8 quarts of Oil in a rebuilt 396 with 200 miles on it last Year, but that's another story)......and XM radio is a "Cool" thing...
So......the Malibu now sports new paint, new suspension, 4 wheel disc's, wheels & tires, Sirius Radio (for Radio Margaritaville), Quick Steer Box,406 Small Block,Dart Pro 1 Aluminum Heads, mild cam for the a.c., Alumitech Radiator & Fans, 700 R4, etc.........I was going to put on a ProCharger and Fuel Injection....but....she didn't have any more money in her purse so I decided to stop at that point.......Didn't mean to be so long winded so here are a few pic's

Ken

Let me know what you think of the Alumitech Radiator...there may be one in my future...I have a generic replacement radiator in the car now...as the other one was leaking...and no one had the correct ones in stock...not even Hinshaws.

BTW, the wifey will wait until you're ready

Charley, Your the only one I saw or knew on PowerTour 2005.
Please say a little something on how you came upon me driving from Indy to Nashville.......honked, waved and powered on past me.
Even though I suspect past Power Tours might have been more fun (due to all the current commercialism) it was still a thrill passing through some of those small towns on the way to Indy and having people waiting in lawn chairs waving at you.etc etc etc

Ahhh...I remember passing Chuck in his Camaro somewhere. Power Tour is what you make of it. Glad you tried it Chuck. It is a great way to see the country and meet new people... Except now I'm stuck with Kwhizz...and he is getting faster......

Beautiful car Ken. Seems like that's the only way you make 'em. The Power Tour sounds like a real good time. I saw the one that stopped at Arlington Park race track here in Illinois. The same one that Titus had his Rides special on. Looking forward to getting together this summer sometime cause I need my motivation/excellence fix. Tom
