Just got off the phone with Clint, and the saga continues. I am posting this on Clint's behalf, as he is on the road still, and is furious.

In Clints words, and I quote:

"I received a call at 5:45 a.m. this morning from the seller saying that he intentionally mislead me and my bodyman. My bodyman needs this 10k more than anyone (Matt), and I will make it right with him. The seller told me he received numerous calls from sYc members bashing me and my friends, and that they helped/urged him in creating this hoax. He mentioned 5 full names, and indicated he would call back with his attorney to discuss further."

I know there are some axes to grind between members. However, intentionally sending ANYONE 40 hours roundtrip presents a lot of risk. Both of these guys have families, and were simply "sitting ducks." This is simply not funny, and is reckless behavior by all involved.

I have been reading the posts on both sites and I picked up the post above from Detroit Horsepower. If this is all true this is just plain sick to set-up someone and play with there lives. I know who the 5 people are from the SYC man you will have some issues to deal with. The guy who set it up the false 70 B/M named 5 people from the SYC first and last name to the T you ought to be ashamed of yourselves and anyone who reads these posts should think twice about making false advertisements and putting a persons life in danger. Clint Richmond is a friend of mine and I have had good dealings with him and the "suppossed" seller (that was set-up to have this happen) stated that there was alot of S*** being thrown around better hold your pants this is going to be ugly!

Soundslike a complete fabrication....I recall posting a while back..."If they told me the sun was shining, I would have to go out and look for myself..what a crock ...wonder what 5 full names he will make up now. Bob, you are quite the politician are you are you not? smoke and mirrors hmmmmm. I just actiually spoke with clint and I will post all of the receipts and hotel expenses that he aquired. FYI I did speak to his wife on saturday and she said he had went to New Jersey to pick a car up. Are you calling her a liar? if you are you have some big balls. This is not fabrication it is all truth nad alot of people should read between the real story. I dont think I would drive 20 hrs just to make up some BS story get real BOB I am sure you would have something else better to do. Sean

If this is true, it really sucks. Personally, I don't believe the Seller. The reason is there were a number of people from the SYC site trying to get the car. Someone from this site was apparently there with a trailer and cash on Saturday only to get the same run around from the Seller. I would really like to hear the real story on this one. Personally, I don't buy the conspiracy theory, but will certainly keep an open mind upon seeing some real evidence presented.

This sh*t is getting out of hand. I am being named as having something to do with this, what the f**k. I am pissed to say the least. I only make one post and state my opinion that it sounds like BS. It sounds too good to be true. And know my name is being dragged through the mud and accused of having something to do with this mess. I would like to know who and why i am being named? I found this out through an email.

Can someone please tell me or us whose 5 names are on the list ? Naming Roger as one of the perps makes me think whoever did it is not really up on the members that don't get along because he would have named someone other than Roger.

Guys, I am a lowly non-Supercar owner who enjoys the information on this site and has made some good friends here, I think? Never have I taken part in all this consipiracy crap.....and I hope there is no reason to. I can tell you that I have talked to the "Iowa guy" on the phone multiple times while he was on the road. I guess anyone can make up anything, but I firmly beleive that he is on his way home with an empty trailer right now.

All I want to know is, what is the truth behind this deal? I am having a hard time believing that anyone cold set up such a scam and still sleep at night. I sincerely hope that this can all be chalked up to a dishonest seller who set the whole thing up on his own. But, the naming of names really bothers me. I agree with Charley about Roger, so something does seem somewhat fishy. Any insights?

If you guys think about it..is there really a seller ? All you had was a cell number...which probably had caller ID...if there WAS a seller this is his way out of a scam...if there wasn't it was just another wet dream by someone. Either way...for these jerkoffs to specifically say the "SYC" was involved is just another lame attempt to get some attention. Nice try boys.
