Why is the name spelled "Maco" instead of "Mako"?
Was there ever a "Manta Ray"?

The Manta was the GM mule car for the new style vettes....
I think Chevrolet had dibbs on the Mako Shark name---So Silva had to use Maco.... |

according to the web sites i have seen its spelled correctly on the back of the car...

I know the original Silva's were "Maco"...don't know about the other kits--There is a member djunod who owns one and is really into them..
