I live in Atlanta so this is pretty big news. Unfortunately, there is a lot of controversy with the King Center as it appears the children and others may have mismanaged things and tried to profit off their father's legacy. There have been a lot of charges of corruption and other improprieties. I hope that does not overshadow some of the good works of MLK, jr.

Not to overshadow the news, but IMHO, I thinks King's kids SHOULD profit off their father's legacy. I mean, the guy was murdered for his beliefs and passion and his kids grew up without him because of that.
If he had not been a leader and stayed home then perhaps their lives would have been richer because of it.

If my dad had left a legacy I'd be typing the book right now!

Mon. Jan.6 and the grieving continues. Will it ever stop? This may well continue until fall. The only thing that could stop the suffering would be the tragic loss of our beloved Jimma Carter.
