AMC's of all types..AMX's/S/C Hurst'/ Rebel machines..were VERY common in N. Ill/S. Wisc when i grew up. In fact, the only muscle car dealer in my town of 150K specialized in AMC's. How weird is that?

I bought a '69 AMX from him in '78 and to close the deal he threw in an Offy crossram that I think was available through AMC. Being the brilliant one I am, I traded it the same day to a friend for some wheels.

I'll bet there are a ton of cool AMC's sitting around between Dekalb and Janesville.
