Looks like they did alright this Year.
[i]"The Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction sold more than $100 million worth of vehicles during its six-day sale, which ended Sunday.

The sales total for about 1,100 collector cars and automobilia came to $100,061,670, including auction fees, the Scottsdale auction reported after the close of sales. Last year's total sales reached about $63 million.

"We grew more this year than we sold two years ago," said Craig Jackson, auction president.

<u>Some other numbers reported Sunday</u>

• Six cars sold for more than $1 million, led by the 1950 Futurliner "Parade of Progress" bus that reached $4.32 million.

• 4,852 people were registered as bidders, coming from all 50 states and 14 foreign countries.

• Total line of credit for bidders exceeded $1 billion.

• Total number of women bidding: 48.

Average bidder amount spent $20,200

Female bidders - less than 1% of total bidders

Average amount spent per female bidder $2,084,618!
