With JL8-d80 on the trim tag I would expect it to be a repo trim tag. There have been stranger things though. Try to get us a pic of thet trim tag.

Would like to see the rear end stamp as well since I have a couple JL8 rears recorded as being sold away from their cars

Like the other have said as well, get the VIN and a pic of the Cowl Tag

Tag looks fine for a real Z28 but the car is too late to be a real JL8. What's the condition of the car? Original #'s matching motor or not? What's the code on the rear? Then we can help determine a price range.

The guy wants 40k or best offer the interiour and body looks all new Im going to pass on it it has a 400 with rock grinder trany and date code correct rear end with 4 weel disc brakes here are some pics if you want more info I would be glad to broker a deal thanks for everyones input my #is 706-638-6142

without going out and looking at mine...that pic of the frame is that hose connection for a drum brake setup?

That is a totally wrong brake setup. Has a late model proportioning valve and the master cylinder is wrong as well. Nice shiny new power booster on a car that needs a total restoration???

Got a bad feeling about this car.
