Seems Don had big plans for it as well. In the 3rd paragraph of this letter Don is explaining how he would like to order 500 of these units for SCCA racing.

They do reference it's lineage to the Corvair in my materials. Coming soon..Stinger II & Nickey Vinegarroon Vega.
