So until recently have all owners of these cars assumed they were all converted, and are some cars with 427 in them when they should have 396??

Second question, if you put a 427 in a non converted car, would it be frowned on by the experts?

Ok, forget the experts. How about a Yenko camaro that should have a 396 but has a 427, any big deal or not?

With nothing in the paperwork indicating a 427, I would say a big deal.

Thanks, do you think the value of a 396 car is less than a 427 car?

[/ QUOTE ]Thats ok with me I will take it. If it is a real Yenko with a non issued 427 and "NO DOCS" like BBBenny would say...take it anyway. We can fabricate a great story!

A 396 camaro sold at yenko with add on parts and no 427 conversion. Price difference yes, how much?? The paperwork helps though, alot better than a made up story on ebay to sell a car. I think the engine conversion is why people like motion, yenko, nickey, dana. But an unconverted 67 yenko with paperwork has to be rare. Roger
