[ QUOTE ]
this is how i found my SC. http://www.carsinbarns.com/AMCs%20In...ns/amcpg11.htm [/ QUOTE ] Cool SC'Rambler! . Is this the early paint style? . We had a few Ramblers growing up and I had a '67 2Dr. Hdtop as a teenager. . Those reclining seats sure came in handy on rainy nights at the drive in when the vacuum wipers wouldn't work without running the engine. ~ Pete

Pete, its from the last 512 built. (1512 total) this one doesn't have reclining seats. the only option (on SC/ramblers) is an AM radio.

The first 500 SC/Ramblers were built in an "A" paint scheme
The second 500 were built in a toned down "B" paint scheme The third 500 were then built in "A" again 69Hurst's is the arguably more attractive and louder "A" paint scheme |

Well got to see a couple more cars today
A 69 X11 Camaro that was raced at Bryon Illinois years ago and is sitting motorless. I was first told this was a Nova and then the person that has it on their property said it was a 67 Camaro but when i got there it was discovered to be a 69. should be Frost Green with a DK Green top a mile down the road from that car was this 69 GTO Judge Convrt. Owner said his dad has a 70 Judge and he knew of a white 70 Judge Convrt in town as well of a 69 TA in a barn down the road that had spun main bearings from the oil filter spinning loose and then this one owner 70 Shelby GT 500 with a garage full of org Shelby parts. 15K miles on the clock and sitting next to it is a Super Cobra Jet Engine as shown on the lower engine pad by the SUPER stamp on it Car needs a complete restoration and all the parts are waiting to be re-assembled
