I have to correct something, the heads were modified before I bought the car. My friend Keith who built the car, found these heads about 10 years ago. He sent them to his friend's machine shop and had them modified.
He told me they were rare heads, but I thought they were the more common L89 heads. when I was reassembling the engine I wrote down the part # and called Mallon Chevrolet to look up the #'s. Talk about wood when they told me what I had. But I'm afraid that they are worthless because of what has been done to them. I want to keep them because of how excellent they flow now. I am just curious if they are still worth anything?

Probably not worth much as a collector item. Cool car.

I'd take L89 heads over ZL1 heads anyday.
