Sam, as I recall it got up to around $150K

mr70 posted within that thread that the final auction price was $170K, so Russo & Steele's Market Estimate is probably justifiable.

That's why I try to post a final bid price on an Ebay item that gets talked about at length on here.If same item ever gets brought up again in the future,the past Ebay link is usually invalid and most ask what it got bid up to or sold for back then.

A couple of friends have consigned cars to this auction and both are under $100K.

In both cases the low and high auction estimates are within $5K of the actual reserve, example:

reserve is $80 auction estimate would be $75-85

The quality of cars at this auction has really come up because I believe sellers with better cars have the sense of comfort from the reserve being allowed.
