guys thanks for all the help, i also noticed that the production date on the car is 7/97 and it was registered in 12/97.

Agree with Sam.
So we have a 97 Festival / Support car, still a neat car. Value is in the eye of the beholder. The only ones that seemed to have held some value are the 50 from '96, the only time the Camaro was the pace car as Sam noted, the 2002 35th Anniv. Camaro (red / silver stripe)that were the festival car for the 2001 race and the 57 2002 RPO Z7D coded Silver SS's with Anniv wheels used at the 2002 race. |

i just bought the camaro today, the car is in cleaner shape than i thought, there is no chips in any of the wheel well lips at all, i took if for a spin and the car is very tight, it seems to be a very firm ride compared to others i have driven, thanks guys for the help!!!
