Your right on the tire Mark, never been on the ground. And yes that is the speaker box, must of been to keep the sound in the car, not the truck and outside the car.

That plastic ducting piece reminds me of the one on the '67 Z-28 cowl air induction kit....they did say it would be supplied in the trunk! ~ Pete

Sorry I didn't reply earlier but I've been out of town.
I guess it is possible that the second owner took out/ replaced package tray when they added after market speakers but it looks pretty weathered. I'll trace the wires as I dissasemble the car for restoration. ![]() thanks for the information. |
