My dad bought me a '63 Impala SS 'vert 283/auto for a buck! My uncle was going to trade it in, but my father talked him into transferring the title to me for one-dollar. I roasted the trans, so it sat for a year. Then, my mother had it junked!!! ![]() Wish I had a photo, but more so...wish I had the CAR!

My first Car was a 1963 Impala SS. Car was a 409 340hp with a powerglide. My Buddy that Owned it was Building a Thames wagon with an Injected Small Block and needed to sell the Imp to finance the Thames. This was Oct of 76. His Dad was A Sergeant with the Seattle Police Department,he sold me the Car for $225. I had that Car excactly half hour before Breaking the Rear end doing a Block Long Burnout. The nice thing about Jeffs dad being a Cop, all the Cops knew the Car so they would not bother me. Heck they even helped me get it home when I broke the rear end.
