Default 1968 Yenko Camaro ?

I was flipping through a magazine and saw this Camaro. Don't know anything about it but I thought it would make interesting conversation. What is it? A Z28? Who drove it? Enjoy!

Sure looks like it has the "camaro" and "cross flag" big block emblems on the front fender to me..
