If original to the car, the one large fuel line could
indicate one of two things: A Z/28 or an L-6. The heater core configuration should rule out a big block for you, unless someone swapped it ( WHY ! ). The 12437NOR140505 trim tag could be either 6 or 8 cylinder so you need to look at the VIN on the dash. If it starts with a 12337, you're looking at another converted L-6 Camaro. If it starts with a 12437, this indicates an 8 cylinder so that should rule out the 6 banger. I believe L-6 cars got a 5/16 single fule line. Z's and L/78's got a 3/8 single fule line. L/48, L/35, and L/34 all got the double fuel line ( 3/8 feed, 1/4 return ). I really have no idea what the standard V-8 2bbl Camaros got in the way of fuel lines. Anybody know? Probably 3/8. The rear date appears to be good for a 10-D-68 build. The stamping should be on the front portion of the passenger side axle tube. I have heard that some Z/28's could have come with 5-leaf rear springs. But I'll have to leave that to others to debate. I'm not a Z/28 guy! Steve
