Right on Kendall. What sucks is that I have a flourescent light right above my desk. They flock to it. They eventually fall down so I have to be careful when I eat lunch.

We used to have a problem with the little beetles, but no more. We found a spray insecticide that we spray around the outside of the house. When they come now they end up in their hereafter.

Thanks Bruce....great pictures! . That gold Dana Nova being unloaded is awesome....what, no engine shot! . Love 'em all....but feel worse every day about some of the stuff I let slip by over the years. . I worked in a boneyard about 79/80 when all the good stuff was rolling in. . Sent toooooooooo much goodness into the press....did you guys know the good ones would squeal at you when you put the squeeze on 'em? . I remember a few cars that were squealing really loud....one a sweet little Nova SS rag....'63 I think, one year only SS and 'vert combo? . Another was a '69 Judge....decent car, a blue coupe and an easy accident repair. . Lots of Firebirds, Gto's, Camaros and Novas. . Rustangs by the load....hard to sell parts then so into the squeeze they went! . Tons of Darts, 'Runners, Chargers & Cudas....they were so rusty who'd ever want 'em....plus those Danas equipped ones were good and heavy for their steel weight? . You can shoot me now if it would make anyone feel better? ~ Pete

Hey Pete...I do have an engine shot...somewhere...neat DANA sticker on the valve covers...I'll have to look and see if I can find it.

I'm sure someone (HEY JD!)has a coiuple of engine pics that they could post.

Your story about the boneyards made me remeber when in about 1982...I went to the Ecology Auto Wreckers in SoCal. I was looking for Big Block stuff...and noticed an Impala with the telltale four holes in the front of the fender...I knew it was a big block, so I went up to it for a closer look. It ended up being a 427/4 speed car. My friend and I ended up getting the center console (and harness), the dash (and wiring) and an overhead console(which had map lights?) and the harness for that. The overhead console matched the styling of the center console...so I think is was factory installed. All this stuff is buried in some boxes SOMEWHERE in storage. I think I also have some gauges that went into a big block Impala, too!

The best part was that Ecology charged me ~$20.00 for all of the parts...

Yep, those were the days.
