running rough

I installed new points condensor,plugs,wires,cap rotor.I set my dwell at 30 and my timing at 10 and ajusted the air fuel mixture.At an idle it ran great I snaped the throttle acouple of times and it responded pretty good.I drove the car and under normal driving it was great but when I nailed the throttle it feal on its face,it was hestitating big time.It did'nt backfire or anything like that.At this time the vacuum advance hose was hook to main vacuum in the back of the carb.So I switch the vacuum hose to the vacuum port on the left front of the carb,same thing happened it feal on its face.I'm thinking that I have a carb problem?Any suggestion would be appreciated.
