[ QUOTE ]
Why do you think it is a restamp? [/ QUOTE ] The seller does not give you a close-up picture of the stamping but as blind as I am I can even see they are not correct. Did you see the size of those numbers?!!! I would want a better picture but I bet that it is a restamp...........RatPack................ |

This pop is not from a Nova, look at the picture when I inverted it. The vin is very clear 124379N5273** with the last couple of digits not legible due to the rust. What does the engine being built in Flint have to do with it not being a Camaro? The engine in the picture is a Flint engine anyways so that would be correct according to this POP..........RatPack.........

From the auction:
PLEASE NOTE: THE ENGINE WHEN REBUILT HAD BEEN DECKED AND NUMBERS HAD BEEN RESTAMPED WITH THE ORIGINAL NUMBERS THAT WERE THERE. Never heard that excuse before ![]() I guess it's good that he has the (what appears to be) original POP to verify. With the "restamping" of the engine, I wonder what else is "original" to the car. ![]()
