Don't mess with old farts - age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill! Bullshit and brilliance only come with age and experience.

He spends way too much time on slimey wording.

Like... "I think you get my drift here.", "If you are a serious party, I could show anyone what i'm talking about", "Real cars have real parts on them", "original head bolts and timing cover bolts", etc, etc...

Lets face it, the Vin makes these cars valuable. You may get more dough for the quality of restoration, but these cars are all about the magic 69 built.

Yu could put a small block in it and probably sell it for 500K!!!

I agree, Stuey...there's no reason these cars shouldn't be closer to Hemi 'Vert prices...

I would like to reply this topic:

A Vette is a Vette, whether it commands 1.00 to 1,000,000.00+....
After being into Chevy cars for many years, 26 years now, one thing stands out more than anything else in my decisions to stay with the steel body 69 Camaros:
Vettes were pampered versions of what a Camaro did for the public image for Chevrolet!
Every Camaro ( OK , Chevelles,Novas,etc-gotta keep all of you happy) stood the test of time thru actual useage and visibilty! It still stands for Horsepower and sheer functionality that proved GM's superiority in a time when Ford & Chrysler were buliding powerplants beyond a chassis' ability. Hemis, SOHC's DOHC's, Yunick SBC Hemi's still to me play equal game to an all aluminum version of a standard BBC version, in the namee of cubic inches vs. sense.
To me, quite frankly, GM did simply only convert a basic BBC engine into a Mammoth display of enginuity without spending heaps of time and R&D and money to deliver what still is today.... what most all others then were only trying to perfect!

Mr Corvette (Zora) had a lot of influnce on all the GM cars in a round about way. If it fit a vette then if you know the right person you could wind up with it on a Camaro/Chevelle/Nova/Impalla.

We all should be gratefull to him. He is the one that made the small block run like it did and that wound up in all the car lines. Not to mention he was a true Car guy.
