Charley, that car is awesome, it would have to be a lot more fun to drive than a stock ZL-1, not taking anything away from a ZL-1 as I appreciate what they are, but the Mule is the meanest looking car I have ever seen. I was at Detroit Speed and Engineeings open house Friday night and I am going to build a Camaro with the DSE suspension and mini-tubs, those 335's on a 67-69 Camaro are awesome! Charley the Mule is awesome, I wouldn't sell it if I were you! How much power does the Mule have now?

WOW! Thats some serious numbers Charley, bet you have hurt a lot peoples feelings with that. The 67 RS/Z mentioned in the ZL-1's ad just came back from paint on Thursday, talked to Stan Younts at DSE's open house friday night, he said this car has tons documentation and retains lots of its original parts, like exhaust, tires, and some other stuff, can't remember what else. Charley the combo in the pro-touring car I am going to build is the new LS-7 with a F1 pro-charger, it will make good power, but nothing like the Mule!

Is it just me or is there something about that guy's style that makes me extremely suspicious? Plus he mentioned Yenko.net by name. Poor form.

Rick, Do you know anything about that sticker on the windshield? [/ QUOTE ] These stickers came out in 1967 as part of the Division-Wide "Number One Team" quality & spirit program. They were available to Chevy employees to put on their bumpers or wherever they wanted. The #1 team program was initially begun in manufacturing, and the logo designed by Jam Handy,(the 35MM Communication kit movie maker),but it was spread all over Chevrolet. I have many different ones in my personal collection: *Engineering Center-(actually "Eng'ring Center") *Sales Leader-(from the Central Office Sales Dept.) *Willow Run *Central Office *Tonawanda Motor |
