You can always restore the rest, but having the orignal/born with drivetrain is of great importance. Would it need a full body restoration, replacing quarters, front fenders, doors?

I saw a black very well documented '67 Z last week that went for over $100,000. It is a survivor (sorry Bloomington) car that has light rust in the quarters.

Was it a black car from Chicago? The original owner may have been an Army buddy of mine. He got a new black Z-28 in 67 after returning from Vietnam.
