Rolls Royce Merlin. Engine out of a Spitfire fighter plane from WWII. I think early P-51s had them too, before they switched to Allisons in the D model (?) hence it being in this P-51 replicar. They were also the engine of choice for Unlimited Hydroplanes before the advent of helicopter turbines. Damn cool all the way around!!

150 K is will probably cover the motor costs!! Incredible car. Like Charley sais, probably went to a Leno type guy.
