I thought I read somewhere where Black was applied to less than 1% of all '69's but I could be wrong.

You are close, just under 2% of all 69's were painted Code 10.
Champaign is the rarest of them all at 0.5%. Code 63

I like that too!

Isn't it amazing that Frost Green was more popular than Hugger Orange and Daytona Yellow?

Count me as a frost green fan. I would love to find a code 59 Z/28 car that WASN'T already painted belly button orange or yellow. I had a 69 RS/SS in that color and got tons of compliments about the shade... it's a cool retro color. A Frost Green/black 69 Z would rock IMO.

I had a frost green/black top RS/Z with endura and black houndstooth,D80 etc. It was black when I found it. It is being restored back to Frost Green by the new owner. I thought it would be awsome done...BKH
