I have received great help on the site in a short period. In looking at the decoding section of the site I see that the car is not the correct color. But I am still not sure of the rest of the tag. Any red flags?

Depends if your selling or keeping. These cars are all just personal extentions of we think the perfect car should look like.Do what makes you happy.
![]() The car is a X-33 (higher trim level Z/28,if you will)with a factory mounted rear spoiler (D80). It IS a sharp looking car, especially in Black.Great stance too which is always important in my book.

It looks to have the original trim tag. So the car is the wrong color with wrong color stripes, chambered exhuast is wrong, 4 wheel disc brakes are wrong, no mention of it being #'s matching, just numbers correct. So you have a nice looking Z28 that might or might not be an original RS car. It most likely doesn't have the original engine/transmission from his desription. Is it worth $45K? If you really, really want a black/silver RS/Z28 then it might be. But for $45K you can get a true matching #'s Z28 so I wouldn't be jumping on this car. That's my opinion though.

I agree with Jeff, tag looks good. Here is a pic of my tag for comparison. Don't know that you can still find a numbers matching Z in what appears to be this kind of shape for $45k though.
Just my opinion. Lynn |

Im looking at it this way. If I bought a boxed up rs Z28 with numbers correct motor and running gear and took it home to restore it to the condition this one looks to have I may spend 10k to buy the car with boxes of parts and another 30k to restore it and possibly more. So its togh to say. Today these cars are getting big numbers.
I am a serious buyer and do want top quality. Anyone have a good one for sale? |

You live in WA state? What part? I know of a couple for sale right now. One is a Z/RS located about 120 miles from my place.
