When the car was repainted in the 70's in Ill. they replaced the frt fenders with nos. While the owner at the time had extensive drawings of the stripe locations he just left them off as sort of a sleeper look. Chose to put the emblems where the 350 normaly would be. That way he didn't have to drill holes either.
Back "in the day" ir wasn't uncomon to change, or leave off motor size emblems. You remember. You're old like me. Well actually, your older. ![]() |

[/ QUOTE ] Actually, the original Yenko emblems would have been stick-on, so he wouldnt have had to drill any holes anyhow...Probably just thought the emblems would look cool there, which they do!
