[ QUOTE ]
But there is no way ebay can keep track of who owns what car. [/ QUOTE ] Sure there is, by vin numbers, backed up by photo, if they see a duplicate they can check it, if you dont list the vin you cant sell your car..pretty easy..

on occasion i will broker a car for friends. I have been approached with scam buyers, with a (fake) cashiers check for more than the car, then they want the car AND the difference in cash. I did contact the FBI........Response ..... no time for internet related scams because they have hundreds a week reported......that is why they run rampant.
I personally think the only answer is vigilanti style outing of their scheme or hasselling of these pond scum. ![]() by the way Colin has had some of his cars (pics) highjacked and then put on ebay. when i spotted one i contacted the guy he said the car was in Italy (of course i had seen it 2 weeks prior in Mil.) I emailed him that that was perfect as I worked for the CIA and would be in Italy in 2 weeks.......never heard from him again..... i wonder why ![]() |
