This would have easily cleared 2K if Pacecarjeff didn't dilute it early on.

I checked my stack of fans in the shop and found 2 of these fans with there original clutches. Maybe I can trade them for a big block Camaro? Way to go Charlie

Congrats to Charlie for sure - - crazy and we dont even understand the differences in the fans except the 1/4 inch!!
My theory still stands for rare parts - "it is he who has the most money". I hope there is money left out there when i begin to unload my stash in the next couple of years :-).

Incredible.
Well now I'm going to look through my pile of used fans. But like you say ED, sure hope there's money left out there. It's pretty amazing what some of this stuff is going for. Rick |

Ive noticed several times on ebay, that once a part gets big $$, the next week or two the others crawl out of the woodwork, show up on ebay, and bring considerably less money.
One example: Couple years ago there was a 69 GTO Endura front bumper that was repaired and primed, sold in the $600 range. I thought "HEY!!!, I have a couple of those". The next week there were a handful on ebay, sold for about half the price. It's like anything else. The right part, at the right time, and with more than one person needing it.

Congrats Charlie, I almost pooped my pants when I bid on it at over $1000. Like I said, you win some you lose some. I doubt the guy that bought it needs it. He has been hoarding 67-69 Z/28 parts and has been paying crazy money for almost everything he bids on. He has bought his fair share of loose 69 z/28 cowl tags.
![]() Anyways, this thread really got high jacked. All I was doing was looking for parts for my car. ![]() It was in the wrong section anyway, looks like I need to start a new wanted ad. Jeff, all the fans I see in that pic look like the common 3 inch bolt pattern. Whats the sense in placing an ad if someone responds to your ad and then gets a part identified, then doesnt offer it to you and places it on ebay for the part collectors. ![]() ![]() ![]()
